Creepy confessions.. from MORGAN House ,kalimpong

The mercury falls here pretty quickly, just once the sun sets, the cool wind blows down through the down slope of the hills and you will feel the chill bite at your bone ..
I was for here for a work and the hosts and workers at Morgan house told me not to venture in the vacant rooms and bathrooms.  It was a moonlight night and Tuesday …. And She might come tonight.
The Morgan house stand on the top of Kalimpong’s Chandraloke area near the Durpin dara army cantonment, the Villa reminds us of the dilapidated  colonial history. The mansion was build by Mr George Morgan ,a British tea planter in 1930s . The view from here is amazing. After crossing the Golf course take the uphill and walk for two mins, you will see a villa with lush green lawn ,a creeper plant on the wall , half of which is almost dead now in the winter, a big parking space ,the Morgan house at a 13 acre property  . From the lawn you can see the town, and Kanchenjunga keeping a close eye over the town from the west..
Probably it was love at first sight for Mr morgan , Like I had  just now with the place .
Moving on ..  The building was to commemorate the wedding of an plantation owner with a jute baron Mr and  Mrs Morgan.. Ahh the level of aristocracy
Local people call her lady Morgan …. Mr Morgn must have been having a gala time here .. until Lady Morgan died and he moved back to Britain ..  But She stays here ……
The sun was setting, the dark was engulfing the place very quickly . The clouds, mists and the tall trees created a perfect plot for her to come and visit her home, which is after many handovers now owned by West Bengal Tourism Board as a heritage Hotel.
I went to the rooms to inspect all the arrangements are if Ok , as the renovation work is going on here .A care taker of house was accompanying me , like my shadow .I thought his face might have irritated the lady as she sees him every day … I asked him to leave and wend to the other rooms through the wooden corridor … I was alone ..
Up on the 2nd floor a room was having some issues that I told the plumber last day to fix. I need to check them. On the balcony I light up one cigarette. And was waiting as if someone might come to meet me.. After hearing so many stories from the locals, office bearers ,clerks and drivers  adding on to that a quick Google search with “Morgan house Kalimpong haunted”, I was pretty much convinced that she will come and welcome the visitors as the lady of the house does in our homes ..
My driver called me to check when to leave . I asked him to wait for some time as I was waiting for her ..
I went to the washroom and checked all the fittings, they are fine. I opened the tap, the shower and checked if the geyser was working .. cool .. the work was done and I was about to leave. Suddenly in the mirror I saw something moving  ….. I was taken apart  .. A foot step of high hills was approaching towards me . My imaginations ran wild . Is she beautiful? How she dress ? Is she dressed in the white gown that she wore on her wedding day ?
My mind was overacting … The door opened and it was my driver Amit, who came looking for me  as my cell went out of the network inside the rooms .. and it was his reflection that came on mirror after getting reflected on the dressing table which  opposite to the bathroom mirror inside the room .
Ahhh.. The lady didn’t came … but I almost felt her presence in as she might have felt mine …
I came back … took some beautiful snaps to share with you guys …
